The Building Process

As a trusted home builder for over 30 years, Hall Quality Homes has refined the home building process to make it easy and enjoyable for our new home buyers. The outline below gives you a brief overview of what to expect during the home building process.

  1. Builders Meeting

Once you have decided on a floor plan, the builders meeting offers you the opportunity to sit down with Jess Hall and your Realtor to discuss your home. Most of our plans can be modified to fit your individual needs.

  2. Drafting

Our drafter will prepare a floor plan according to the items outlined in your contract. Therefore, it is important that any changes or upgrades are discussed before finalizing your contract. Upon completion of the floor plan, review the plan carefully to ensure all requests are to your satisfaction.

  3. Selections Meeting

Prior to framing your home, we will conduct a Selections Meeting at our office. At this time you will select interior items such as cabinetry and interior doors. You will also pick out exterior features such as siding style and shingle color.

  4. Electrical Walk-Thru

Once your home is framed, our electrician will conduct an electrical walk-through with you and your realtor. The purpose of this walk-through is to mark where your electrical switches, outlets, lighting, and television/telephone outlets are to be placed.

  5. Rough-in Inspection

The framing and mechanical stages are completed, a Quality Assurance Inspection is performed to ensure the framing and mechanical work is of the highest quality and in accordance with your plan. In addition to our Q&A Inspection we contract a Certified Home Inspector to make certain all code requirements are met.

  6. Customer Orientation

When your home is finished, a Hall Quality Homes representative will take you on a room-by-room tour to demonstrate the features and operating procedures for all aspects of your home. This includes the operation of your Heat Recovery Ventilator, furnace controls, and basic home maintenance.

  7. 30 day follow up

Once you have settled into your new home, we will check in with you via phone, letter, or even a knock on the door, just to ensure your continued satisfaction.
